Books

Soooo. I love books. Books are my friends. I'm reading this really good one right now, called The Surgeon by Tess Gerritsen. Really really good so far, and i've only read about ten pages. It was funny, the ME told one of the detectives to stick his hands into the wound because he would 'know what he would find.' Interesting. I don't think, even if i was a detective, i would have stuck my hands into a dead body to feel around and touch organs and stuff.

So it's a little bit after that now, and i finished the book, so it was really really good. Now i'm reading another one, one that i've already read before, but it's still really really good!!!!!! :D

So yeah.

Toodles!

:D

New Year's Day

So, totally unfair. I wanted to go see New Year's Day with Red Jumpsuit Apparatus in Canada sometime in October but I can't because Canada is GAY and schedules concerts on THURSDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS. That's great planning guys, real nice.

So depressing.

Anyway. School is totally boring, and I am SWAMPED. What is it that teachers cannot understand: kids have LIVES outside of school. We have OTHER THINGS TO DO. We only pretend to care about school while we're there, then we don't care anymore. So why do you insist on giving us so much homework, hmmm? Are you stupid? Wait, don't answer that please.

Not to much to say, so I'm going to go.

:P Peace.

Homecoming/ Evil People

Homecoming is coming (haha that sounds funny) in about two weeks, and I've ordered my dress yeay! It'll be here tomorrow, but I won't get to try it on until wednesday, but I'm still really excited. If I don't like it, I have another one picked out, so yeah I'm set.

That's about it. Follow the link to see the alternate one. Just click on the title of this post. Then click on at the top JUNIORS, then along the side HOMECOMING SHOP, then DRESSES in the middle, then go to page 3 and it's the second dress.

Ok, about evil people. Mmmmm yeah evil people consist of those who are stupid and lazy and need to have someone push them off a cliff for BEING stupid and lazy. Because I don't like those kind of people that just expect someone to do all the work while they just sit on their butt and watch TV. That's cruel. Especially if said activity is going to take THREE FUCKING HOURS to complete ALONE. If you're like that, go away forever and ever and don't come back, and Jeremy you totally know who I'm fucking talking about. Still pissed over that, since you know, you're the ONLY ONE THAT DOES ANYTHING.

That's it. Short, but sweet and to the point.

School tomorrow. Shoot me in the face.

Wilson Football

So last night I went to the football game in Wilson against Newfane--way fun. Okay, yes I hate football, but there's something about going there and just hearing everyone shouting and the whistles and the announcers and the feel of just being a part of something so normal as a football game. Plus, Jeremy was there and he was in his (is it his? lol) football jersey and i just wanted to give him a hug. It's funny when he talks about football stuff because I've no idea what he's talking about, but I smile because he just looks so happy and excited. Half the time I don't know which way the game is going. Do they switch sides or what?

Lol the only time I'll go watch a football game is if Jeremy is in it. I can't explain it, there's just something about watching him that makes me all giddy inside. What can I say? It makes me happy to see him happy.

Anyway, I guess Wilson kicked ass (Jeremy kept saying they pwned but whatever). I couldn't tell what the hell was going on if my life depended on it. People would cheer and I'd be like, what's going on? A few times, yes, I was very bored, but the majority of the time I was very content there. Jeremy is totally hot and I love him to death.

I'm not going to tell what I was staring at almost the whole time. ;-)

That's about it. Oh, buy Aly and AJ's new CD, Insomniatic. It's totally addicting.

JEREMY I LOVE YOU :-D

My Schedule

So, i got my schedule today and i was a little disappointed. Besides it sucking major cock, i have classes in the worst order possible.

AP US History.
AP English.
Precalc.
Gym or study hall.
Band.
Spanish.
LUNCH.
AP Chem.

How much worse could that get? I'd rather eat my own leg than have global first, and the last two periods of the day dominated by chemistry? I like chem, don't get me wrong, but not enough to have it double period IN A FUCKING ROW. Ugh. I'm not looking forward to Junior year at all.

And lunch costing $1.70?! That's outrageous! Let me guess, the poor teachers are underpaid, so we have to charge the students more money to pay for the stupid union teachers. Go jump off a cliff. People like that need to take a hike. Simply disgusting.

On that note. I miss Jeremy like crazy, and i have to wait until the end of the first day of school to see him again. Why do people come up with insane ideas to have children go to school for THIRTEEN YEARS, then college? Like dealing with morons isn't enough, we have to go to SCHOOL. Grosso.

I did mention life was cruel, right?

School starts soon

So school starts soon and guess what? I'm not done with ANY of my projects! I swear, the person that came up with summer reading should umm die a terrible terrible death. First of all, forcing kids to read something they don't want to read and making them do projects for it isn't going to get them to read more often. And that's the goal of teachers that assign summer reading. They want kids to read more. Hello. If you're forcing a student to read when they don't want to, you're just reinforcing how much they hate to read. And for those who've already read all the books on the planet, c'mon, is it really fair to make them read the stupid books on that stupid list?

I think not.

And projects over the summer? Look, we're kids. When we graduate high school and college, we're going to have to spend our summers working (usually) so why can't we enjoy being kids now? People force so much maturity on children nowadays it's quite revolting. I feel like i need to scream to adults everywhere that CHILDREN ARE SUPPOSED TO BE CHILDREN! HELLO! That's the joy of having a child, watching them grow up and enjoying their lives while they can, before reality comes and smacks them in the face. No wonder kids are into drinking and drugs (not that i think that's a reason to do shit like that)! We're always so stressed out. And if we want to take some time for ourselves, guess what? We either have a job, homeowrk, chores, school, practice for a sport, a meeting for some type of organization, SOMETHING.

This is a bit ridiculous. Normal children HATE, no LOATHE school. This just makes it eighty times worse. Give it a rest people. Since 2003, the teen suicide rate has increased. WONDER WHY THAT IS?! Yes, i understand that there's also depression and mental health to consider when people commit suicide, but depression can start from too much stress.

I'm quite afraid for this generation of youth.

Maybe teachers and all the other people that continually try to run areas of our lives where they shouldn't be can get the hint.

Underage drinking

So, I have a health project that I have to do, due June 7. Of course I'm going to choose alcohol, since I feel it is such a problem in America's youth. It's actually a real disappointment for me to see these kids doing stupid things that they don't need to be doing, and I just want to shake them. I want to ask them, "What's your problem? Are you trying to kill yourself?" And of course you know that if I say that, I'll have no friends. But it really sucks, you know? Because you might hear of the things your friends do, and you want to help them, and by trying to help them you lose them. It's a vicious cycle. And then one day it happens--your friend gets into a car accident due to, you guessed it, drunk driving. Then you remember your friend at their funeral, and how you could have helped them but didn't, or you tried to and they shoved you away. And I bet there are people, teenagers, that could read this and are rolling their eyes, always thinking that it could never happen to them. Well, you're wrong. And being wrong in this case can get you something else.

Dead.

So my story for my project is going to be one that raises awareness, even if I get laughed at and rejected. Because what kind of friend would I be if I let a friend drink and then drive? A pretty poor one, that's what. I want to help. Some kids drink because they think their lives suck. Please! Before I began writing this, I read an entry from a man named Jason Torreano. He volunteered to go to Africa for, I believe, three months, and he described the things those kids go through. They have no food, no money, no shelter, sometimes no family. And America's teens think THEIR lives suck? I scoff at those who use that excuse to do something that is brainless. Face it--if you need to drink underage when you're fifteen, sixteen years old, get out. Get out of everyone's life, because you are useless. Did you know that kids who begin to drink underage (thirteen, fourteen, fifteen years old) are four times more likely to be alcoholics when they grow up than children that don't? Guess what that statistic says?

It says you're in big trouble.
