English and the Student Teacher.

Why hello. We have a new student teacher today. Quiet kid. Oh, and I hate Lord of the Flies. Anyway. So yeah, English class is pretty uneventful. He talks, we listen, we leave. The cycle begins anew the next day, and the next until the weekend. Ahhh civilization at its finest!

I don't mean to be rude (and I don't think I am), but talk to us in a monotone, give us our notes, and leave us alone. It's the last damn period of the day, and we just want to go home.

I can get that maybe he's nervous, and, all right, the monotone thing really isn't as fun as i make it sound. But after sitting there all day listening to about eight or nine different teachers drone on really wears you down. By the end of the day, kids just don't care. Any teachers that teach the last period of the day can probably vouche for me here.

Oh well. He'll get bored of us kids sooner or later.
